We are now closed for Christmas and the New Year. We will open again on Tuesday the 6th January at 10am. We would like to thank everyone who recycled their computers with us in 2025 and we would also like to thank our staff and partners for all their hard work this year. Merry Christmas!

With Gyleview House being sold we are moving out of the building and to a new workshop space in Newbridge. We are unable to accept any items for recycling at the South Gyle during this transition period. We hope to have our new recycling centre open shortly and will announce the opening here as soon as it's ready! Commercial customers can still get in touch for IT collections and recycling but members of the public will not be able to book drop off appointments until our new faciality is ready. We've heard a lot recently about the great strides apple have been making towards sustainability and how they really care about recycling whilst at the same time they still block right to repair and make things as difficult as possible for users and recyclers to repair their items. We appreciate all of the Apple items that are handed in for recycling and wherever possible we will repair and upgrade items so that they can go on being used for the purpose they were originally intended for. If you are recycling any Apple products we would like to ask that if possible your item still works that you remove it from your Apple account. If your device still turns on and has a working screen then please remove your item from iCloud before donating it otherwise we can only recycle the item from scrap. We understand that your device…

Please note that the drop off point is now closed. We have taken this decision to protect you and our staff from any potential risk from the Coronavirus. Our main facility is also now closed so we are regrettably unable to accept any items at all for at least the next 12 weeks. We really appreciate all of those who have been in touch recently offering donations and if you can hold on to them for now that would be great. For those of you who require paper copies of destruction/ recycling please note that these have all been posted now and you should have them by tomorrow at the latest. All customers waiting for electronic destruction certificated should have them by now as they were emailed out yesterday.  We apologise for the delay and hope you like the new design! If you do not receive your certificates then please get in touch and we will issue a replacement immediately.
